This fic is brilliant, you move between Lupin's memories and feelings in a way that is very fluid and believable. Also, I love the last line - very poignant!

This is one of the best fanfics I've ever read. I love the way that Remus tells the story that happened twenty years before without making it sound as if it happened the previous day. The way he narrates is doleful and matches perfectly with the way his spirit is in that moment, and you *really* got to distinguish between doleful and dramatic, which most authors can't do.

That's simply WONDERFUL!

Oh wow. There are so many word to describe the brilliance of that, but honestly, i'm going to stick with wow.

There are so many things i love about that story. The way that Remus actually enjoyed being a werewolf for the short while. Most people have Remus terrified of the full moon, but in some ways i think he would look back on the full moons of his schooling years with joy.

The way the story flowed! Oh, bloody, bloody wow.

And Sirius! Argh. If i was somebody just that tiny bit smarter, i could explain how fucking amazing this was! XD But, for now, i offer you my ramblings!

This is one of the best R/S stories I've read. The emotions, the thoughts and the personalities you captured are simply beautiful and real. Sirius was described wonderfully, never questioning the relationship and living life with such fullness and wonder. I loved Remus' thoughts too and how he was so accepting of everything in the end.
