I'm surprised that no one said this but I'm pretty sure your idea for Death was actually inspired by an original Twilight Zone episode. Death appeared as an ordinary looking man (blonde, blue eyed, young man).
Anyway, I think you did a wonderful job with this story. My review is years late but I still had to say something.

I really dont know what to say. This is one of the most heartbreaking stories i have ever read in my whole life. It took all of my energy to stop my tears from streaming down my face. I never liked crying and this story was testing my limits. I can speak from experience how someone i truly love having cancer and how weak they truly become. This is exactly how reality is unlike other stories that over exaggerate a bit. Anyways i love this fanfic, it is one of my favourite angst stories ever. I rarely write a long ass paragraph so be grateful :) Peace..

You sound like you wrote this event from experience? Watching a loved one die is the most unbelievable thing a person can feel. I have been through it and you described it exactly. I normal hate the fanfiction were one dies, but this one was to close to home. Well done. Keep writting. X
