Really, that was one of the stupidest, most disappointing, lacking, asinine, unjustifiable endings I have ever read. Albus smears some silly twaddle and they all go on happily ever after and naturally nothing at all whatsoever in any way, form, or fashion was done to Lord Harmful Harry, the boy who can get away with torturing innocent people just because he wants to. You really let your characters down badly with this piece of useless unjustified tripe.

And they all apparently patted Harry on the head as they left and kept kissing his ass as always.

Amazing. Strong. Powerful. LOVED it. You're talented.

Would not be upset if you chose to continue this with a sequel. Nope, wouldn't be upset at all.

I LOVE THIS STORY! I hope that you will continue it for it has a lot of potential!

I loved this story. It was really well thought out, and not cliched like so many others.

The daughter's name was the only thing that bugged me, but that's a really tricky thing to get right anyway. And the only reason I didn't like it was because we use a computer programme called SULIS in college for our lecture notes.

I love the story. So so sad, but beautiful too.

I second lunacy glow's sentiments - the epilog was pithy and lacking. Hermione should have spit in Harry's face and then Hexed him so that his face was covered with the words FOOL or, better, I HATE HERMIONE, for the next month. He should have had to grovel for years for forgiveness. And even after all that, it still wouldnt match the lack of forgiveness his mother had for her husband.

I read this story like four or five years ago and loved it, but didn't really pay attention to the title. Well, I've been trying to find it since then. Little did I know the person who wrote one of me all time favorite sev/ mione stories (incident in the great hall) also wrote the mystery story. I just want to say thanks for the great stuff and I’m so glad I found this story again!

So...

I like this oneshot until this line :

"Good," Albus pronounced. "It's all settled then."

The epilogue... I don't like. At all.

It reminds me of the cheap moral lessons and the easy endings given to children. "And he become very brave and wise, and all went well, and they remained friends forever, etc."

You pictured Harry as the bad guy. I liked it, because it shows that the world is not black and white. The perfect hero from Rowling's books is not that perfect. The story is written from his own point of view, and he is not one to question his actions or himself.

After having nearly committed a murder (like in Onus), I expected a huge row with Hermione, where she would be furious and so on... But no, nothing. They became friends, and the "The Snape family was thrilled when Uncle Harry was made Minister for Magic".

The same goes for Onus. I think it strange that Hermione learns that the man she loves was nearly killed by her friend, and does nothing about it. Maybe not directly, as she is ill, but after she has recovered...

But still... I like the idea that everyone mourned Hermione while she was safely living with the "greasy git". Nyaha ! Serves them rigt ! (;)

this is so sad. the idea that they would persecute him in such a way. and that she has to reveal herself to save him. brilliant.

This was an extremely cue story. I absolutely loved reading it! Harry does need to stop jumping to conclusions-I love the lesson you had him learn! Keep it up!
