I loved everything about this story! Even the spaces gave it the pacing, the allowance for my heart to let the words sink in and meld together. It was in the smallest of interactions, even the smiles that they both thought they have mastered plastering on their faces when the they wanted to avoid certain questions—feelings even, and it was in each step they took—either to close the distance or to keep it as it is. I was able to see it. Clearly. I saw their emotions first creep at the back of their minds unnoticed, then it surfaced—no longer a what-if, and finally colliding towards each other. It was love. It was beautifully written.
If I could I would have printed it and have it framed and just stare at it until my eyes grow tired of rereading it over and over again.
I saw Tomoyo turn towards Eriol and just stopped and stared.
I saw Eriol objectively observing then actively participating.
This story was and will always be a wonderful read.
I have read several EriolxTomoyo fics and somehow found it awkward when either of the two were described to be blushing or awkward abou5their feelings since I was used to the image that the projected. They are like the untouchable King and Queen, yet this story made them human to me. This story had them both act perfectly like usual but it showed a side of them that was right I could imagine this happening.
It was a first that Sakura was not so oblivious to Tomoyo's feelings and I like the approach she took. I liked that she pointed out to Tomoyo that someone who's really happy shouldn't be crying. I like how Sakura and Tomoyo interacted after Sakura admitted that she knew that Tomoyo loved her for who she is and that she is not blind to that. They had been together for such a long time that it doesn't sit well with me when the others portray Tomoyo as someone who's just suffering indefinitely while her best friend is floating in cloud nine together with Li. That scene is really impacting.
Tomoyo's wall—made up of the things she thinks she hides so well, crumbled and fell and Eriol was just there, accepting all those bits and pieces. Tomoyo losing it in front of Eriol made them both...human. And you don't know how many times I have read through that part and feel contented. I felt Tomoyo was safe in those arms, not because I ship them so hard (which I do), but because Eriol also let go of a that permanently-calm-cool-and-collected part of him just to make her feel that he is there...
honestly, I can go on and on about how this is so frigging perfect!
I mean each eye contact, each silent conversation that takes place when one of them does this simple gesture that would go unnoticed to others, each moment of silence, each pause they took to appreciate the simple things that the other does, each time they both didn't understand why they wanted to stay...as is... standing there... It really drives me insane how well written this is.
Mizuki Kaho, is not included in the story, (my friend ships eriolxkaho bec theyre canon) which is fine, i don't need her in this story. I just mentioned her because,personally, i think even if she is here, being the soul mate of clow reed and all, you would be able to justify that EriolxTomoyo kicks ass, and because of how ridiculously good this story is, even if I try to imagine Kaho in the story, I feel that Eriol would still choose Tomoyo.
Everything here is just so lovely. Even the songs you added in between chapters and paragraphs just added to how awesome this story is and I am really geeking out over it so much I felt like writing you this review to let you know that whichever fanfic heaven you came from keep gracing us with these EriolxTomoyo treasures. I love your story. I love your whole existence. keep rocking whichever fanfic heaven you're in right now!

Oh my gawd! This is so good but what happened to Kaho? Well I don't really care about her it's just I find it a bit weird because in CCS Eriol and Kaho are canon (I think) .I much prefer Tomoyo and Eriol anyways thanks for making this fanfic for EriolxTomoyo! I love how Eriol's so smitten with Tomoyo. Sonomi pretty much thrown a bone for them to get the hint. I also like the fact that Eriol sees a different side to the normally serene girl with the unflappable mature smile.

That Sakura might be dense but she isn't stupid enough not to notice the difference, on how her best friend distanced herself from her. That she had hurt her and didn't know what to do to fix it. And all she could do was apologize repeatedly.

That Syaoran is still Syaoran, awkward and easy to tease.

The continuation of CCS if the ET fangirls had anything to do with it.

Great story. Heart warming. Two people lost (one lost in finding back her way to happiness and one lost in finding something he could live for) and mending each other. This story concretized my love for Eriol-Tomoyo.
