Aww, I really liked this! Usually a long line of dialogue with no indicator of who is speaking can get confusing, but you have both of their voices mastered. And the tell-tale head scratch is such a Gippal thing, so perfectly him - and so is Baralai's analysis of it.

The only complaint I have is that your third person camera seems situated over Baralai for this entire fic, except for when it abruptly switches to Gippal right after Baralai didn't answer Gippal's initial question. It makes that one little section seem a little jumpy.

But overall, I really really liked this. Thank you for sharing it!

What a surprising delight! This is really good, a pearl in the dungheap of most of the stuff posted here. I do thank you for restoring my faith in fanfic writers. One more insipid HS fic and I would have been off to emulate Nooj.
