It was such a sweet and amazing story!ash and misty seemed so much in their characters,the situations felt real,though the never ending misunderstandings between them gave me a headache lol,but it only added to the essence of the story because that’s what it’s about lol,and you ended it in a very nice way,again ash n misty seemed very much in their characters in the last chapter,both of them admitting to each other that they are in love,but as they are still kids,they are hesitant to this idea of newfound romance n all,which comes along with all this relationship thing,so deciding to keep this idea at bay after trying some of it,and pushing it for their future seemed apt at this point of stage in their lives!but it’s still good that you insinuated that they would take baby steps towards the growth of this Newfound relationship between them,the idea overall is very cute and innocent and very much like both of them,especially ash,I think you understand their characters quite well and it reflects in your fanfictions.

Awesome! Here are some comments per chapter:

1. I always love reading about Ash thinking about how he feels for Misty, and finally starting to somewhat realize that he might feel a bit more than just friendship for her. I also love writing those things in my fics.

And about Misty needing time alone after releasing Togetic: Misty has no control on whether or not to see Ash again. If her sisters decide to give away badges for free, Misty has no choice...

2. Seeing Brock gush over the Sensational Sisters is cool. I wonder what Tracey would think if he saw Brock perving over Daisy... He might feel like borrowwing Misty's mallet in that case (but be too nice to actually use it)!

Daisy saying "don't be selfish" to Misty... So hypocritical... If anyone is selfish there, it's Daisy, Lily and Violet... Misty is doing all their stupid chores and fulfills their responsibilities and is stuck at the Gym against her will, she works her ass off, and then gets this...

Introduction of Samantha is an interesting concept... Can't wait to read chapter 3!

3. It makes total sense, both Ash and Misty wanting to date but not having the guts to show and tell each other. And the arguing and pride for Misty makes so much sense. Out of all fanfic authors I've seen, you seem to understand Misty the best of all. So many people write her out of character...

4. Glad the awkwardness in the air was somewhat taken away, but sad there was no more time for some shippiness...

Amazing that Lily and Daisy are willing to be unselfish and give Misty her life back! However, it is very out-of-character for them. Chronicles showed them to be unwilling to help or even care about Misty's emotional condition. Beauty treatments are more important to them. I just wish they would go out-of-character in the real anime, it would save Misty's Water Pokemon Master dream and her love life, so basically her life!

5. Misty seems to slot into the group quite naturally. And epic how Team Rocket desperately want our heroes to let them finish their anthem first! And Max developing a one-sided child crush on Misty makes perfect sense. I don't ship them two-sided, but think Max's one-sided little crush is cute (as long as it stays one-sided). And I love how open and mature he is about his feelings, something Ash and Misty could learn a lot from.

6. Max and Ash fighting and being jealous... Priceless, just like Misty and Macey fighting about Ash... And awesome to reference Misty's awful cooking skills, in the episode where Brock was ill in Johto. In my journey fic where Ash and Misty travel through Johto as 16 year olds, Ash is the cook because he's at least better than Misty, even though he still sucks at it. And the relationship between Emmie and Max... So cute!

Misty helping Emmie and teaching her how to cook? That must be a disaster...

7. Misty thinking Ash talked about himself and treating it like a confession, so cute! And that while it was truly about Max (but I'm sure he also thought about himself).

8. Instead of actually serious pain, I mostly expected Misty to hate Viridian Forest because of the Caterpie and Weedle there... Ash actually trading Pikachu for helping Misty... Amazing... Also, he might think Pikachu could escape... I really hope he would, or that he would steal Pikachu back... James helping the twerps by giving Pikachu back is so sweet, and in-character. Jessie is a ruthless bitch, while James and (to a lesser extent) Meowth have somewhat of a conscience. And glad that everything got Ash to finally get some better understanding and acceptance of his feelings for Misty!

9. May a love expert? Well, I suppose it makes more sense than Brock. I always like the idea of Brock talking to Ash about love and sex, but I suppose Brock's failure with women shows that he might not be the best choice. Tracey and Daisy would make sense, but I doubt that Ash knows about them being a couple. His mum or Professor Oak? If anything, that would make sense. And Misty's jealousy is priceless!

Misty in this chapter being jealous about Ash and May when those two have literally zero feelings for each other is a lot like what I've heard about some fellow PokeShippers during early AG, back when I wasn't an active shipper yet (I shipped Ash and Misty without knowing what shipping meant and never saw May as a threat because of the lack of AdvanceShipping hints and later, the shitload of ContestShipping obviousness).

May fantasizing about Ash and Misty alone together at night... Kissing? Sex? I'm curious how far May the PokeShipper takes her shipping fantasies!

May and Ash rehearsing Ash's confession... And Misty walking in... And Ash catching up to her and confessing...

10. Bayleef is so adorable... Curious to see how she feels about Ash and Misty being together now! And sad to see the relationshpi end, they can also be officially together without acting all mushy... But I understand why you did this, it does make sense.

Yeah...Ash as a romantic freaked me out...frustrated me really...I can see the plot was not so original as it seems familiar to some movies and novels...but the ending was perfect and fitting...not at all anti-climatic! This story is practically a standout as it manages to depict a very sweet romance without ignoring the characters' original behaviours...in this case it was very original (oxymoron)...I reckon it could even fitted as an epilogue of Advanced Generation...kicking out Misty in a certain episode...(I meant leaving) loved the story, 3 the ending

WTF! WHY, why in the right mind would you actually think Ash would actually give up PICKACHU you're a crazy, sel-motivated, ungrateful, under minded, self-centered,airheaded, bitched fucked up asshole!HE WOULD NEVER DO THAT maybe make a plan about it and trick them or not but make a plan or some shit... awwww and pikachu actually forgave him GOD he's the best :)

All the characters were so in character, and each chapter was interesting. Aw, Team Rocket... wanna capture Pikachu the right way, huh? XD
