Ah. You know how much I *heart* this fic. Sharp, polished beyond perfection, and oozing of Sarkney...my favourite kind.

Very nice fic. Good characterization; I especially likd the description of Sydney tripping out on the adenaline/pain high and feeling like she could stay in the 'tick' state for hours. You've gotta be an adrenaline junkie to be in that line of work.

The underlying UST of the sarkney was lovely, not too overpowering, just right. Very visceral imagery; I can picture Sark leaning into her, inhaling to draw her scent in as well as the coppery tang of her blood. Oh wait, wrong english blond bad ass, Sark, not Spike. But still, with the blood...

Anyway, fine, fine piece. I'll be looking forward to reading more of your work - found this one on a google sarkney fic search, and am glad of it. Thanks for writing.
