I feel like some of the alien characters come for the Covenant from Halo not the Tau of Warhammer. Of course I could be mistaken, I was not very into the Tau. For the Emperor and what not. Anyway great story I'm only on the third chapter but I think it will be great.

Hey, just thought id drop a note after finishing this, to be blunt, awsome story. It is, with all due respect for the original by BombSquad, far better. When i looked at it and realised it was "just 18 chapters and 100K words" i was amazed because it felt like it was far longer than that, in the good way. :)

Hat off for you, and now im of to see what else you have written.

Very moving fic. Impressive use of crossovers too, very glad to have been able to read it. Only thing I was slightly hesitant about was the sith mentions but it worked out quite well in the end. In total 10/10 for the fic.

Been reading this over the last few days and I've thoroughly enjoyed it, even if my own personal opinion of the Tau is that the Great Deceiver augmented their development to fight against Chaos and the Warp (Explaining their lack of impact on the warp) and that the Etheral caste is actually the Deciever's means of controlling them. But I digress. Very well written and I've added this to my meagre list of story alerts.

One last thing, I take it that Tau weaponry has been suitable nerfed in the interest of making things fair to the other races?

you outa do a short sequel dealing with BSG2003. It would be pretty cool you know, especially when the colonials show up to see a nuked, glassed, gassed, and out right fucked up Earth with humans living with MACHINES AND ALIENS! how fucking awesome would that be.

uh...i don't know if you know this but Tau fire warriors are genetically weaker then an average human. They are about a little stronger then a women, and thats the male fire warriors. I'm not saying that women are weak or anything but it is proven that they have 20% less muscle mass. So Tau FIRE WARRIORS have like 15% less i'm guessing.

That was an excellent fic. The characters were well fleshed out and the technical aspects added so much depth to the tale.

Your action scenes are among the best that I've read - well thought out, realistic, and energetic.

I did want to see a bit more of the final fleet battle and I thought more could have been done with it.

Again, excellent writing and great interweaving of the different genres.
