I spent literal days trying to find this. I remember reading it ages ago when I was still pretty new to the fandom and like... I don't even know if you'll see this or not, but I wanted to say that this stuck with me enough to go and find it again. I'm so glad it's still here 3

I have read and reread this story so many times. The only thing I can say is, it's pure poetry. It's amazing and one of my favorites. I'd add it to favorites but alas, I am monetered, so I cannot. I love this story so much though.

Bakura's inner turmoil and struggle with himself was brilliant. The way he fought with himself on every detail of what Ryou needed, even if it wasn't what he wanted. I loved the way you made Bakura seem like his heart was shut out from love so much that it melted instantly when he found love again. Brilliant!

whoa, nice story. I love the way it was set in Bakura's point of view and the wording of the story was great so that there was no direct speaking but you were able to understand the overall idea. Love it. Though I do feel a bit sorry for Ryou's father (NOT! How does someone say no to their son being involved in sweet yaoi hotness?), I'm glad you were able to incorporate all the other characters as well, plus their own relationships without totally losing the main story.

Once again, must say I love the story! Keep writing!

I absolutely loved this!

This story is a perfect balance between romance, angst and humor. I found myself swinging from feeling my heart breaking to laughing out loud, within the same minute.

This rather unique writingstyle you use is just amazing, and you use it so well, only writing Bakura's thoughts and still making the reader understand what's going on. It was a bit difficult understanding when he only thought something or when he actually said it out loud, but that's something I can deal with.

I also think you have caught Bakura's character really well, making him a bit of a romantic without loosing his "big bad"-attitude.

You really had me hooked from beginning to end (or would have, if it hadn't been for my mom getting irritated when I never came to eat dinner. I mean, who needs food? I'm reading a good story here). I also liked the side-story about Yami and Yugi. What I didn't like was the small Anzu-bashing tendencies at the arcade, but I'm going to write that off as Bakura's thoughts about her.

So, to summarize: Well done!
