In all the fanfics I’ve read Dumbledore is always this wizard that he does things for the greater good and that everyone has to agree with him. I also have never like Aunt Petunia as she always acts like she has a stick shoved up her arse but I think a lot of that was because of Albus too many names Dumbledore as he was unable or not tactical enough to realize that by denying Petunia’s request to come to school with her sister that he was making a enemy of her to Lily and her fellow magic users. Granted Dumbledore is a great and powerful wizard but unfortunately he doesn’t have any tact in explaining things to a girl who just wants to be with her younger sister.
