Shaw that this one did not having any reveiws and as I have read about 30 chapters I felt I should throw a reveiw out there. I love a lot about this series, but... I dislike how is fallows the episodes so closely. That honestly is my only complaint, otherwise really enjoyed it.

Ford doesn't behave like an ex proper law enforcement agent. At times I think he's almost like a teenager not a grown mature man. I'm not sure if I like the character or not.

First off, that armor gag just pissed me off to the point of speed reading the rest of the final chapter! Anyways, it's surprising this story has so little reviews.

This story's major contribution to the community is that because it is so close to cannon, other authors can use it as a reference instead of trying to find the original scripts. Though I doubt that is what you were intending. As others have mentioned, Ford doesn't actually add much to the story, despite his Mary Sue like qualities.

I must congratulate you though on probably writing the largest story on this site, or at least close to it. Thank you for your time and effort, I just wish you had done more to make it your own instead of slightly tweaking the original.

Even though I'm undertaking reading this story a second time, that driving barb had me spraying my screen, again!

Okay, really pretty good story. I admit I grew rather tired in some places where the course of events was almost exactly like canon. I did enjoy the original episodes and little side-trips for the most part. Although I'm not really big on the zombie and vampire universes.

I will say that I felt that it was rather lame in this final chapter that Ford was stuck in the suit for the entire final battle. That sucks to be honest.

Regarding the star trek ships. I personally would've preferred the TNG or Voyager ships as they're more advanced, I was never really big on the original series, at least once I saw the later ones. Although that's a hard comparison. It's not really important though.

I do kinda wish how this would have gone with SGU, although with the TARDIS it would basically solve the major problem of getting back simply. Although if the TARDIS needs to have the coordinates then it might be a lot more difficult, they'd need to have some sort of beacon go through the gate with the original people or something. Unless maybe the TARDIS could output enough power to dial Destiny. Oh well. It's kind of hard to write stories for SGU since it got cancelled before it really went anywhere. Also, there wasn't really much of a goal to the series other than surviving and getting home.

Hmm, I've recently gotten back to finishing reading this story. I took a break from reading it for a few months. Anyway, this particular chapter reminds me of that fable of the goose that laid the golden eggs, and instead of being happy with what they were given freely, the owners thought they could get it all at once by killing it and cutting it open, only to find out there was nothing there.
