Grissom had Sara the day they met. I ont only admire Sara but also deeply feel sorry for her. She simplycouldn't stop loving this infuriating man. It was great for you to make her go away and regain a sense of self worth. Thank you for staying true to this remarkable character, and not making her a clingy,weepy and wuss. As for Sofia, you wrote a nice scene with her and Catherine in the locker room chatting about her dinner date. It was one of the most believable 'Sofia voices' I have come across on this site.

Why that Sofia woman still hanging around the lab? Please tell her to go away. It was nice to see a business-like Ecklie instead of a snide one. Gregg. What can one say about him? He's a good friend to have.

At least he proposed to her in a supermarket and not while they're riding the roller coaster. A great story with satisfactory ending. Thanks.

Laura's fault was she did not walk away from her abusive husband. A family was destroyed and the survivors were deeply scarred.

I don't think either one of us is used to being up so late, or early, however you look at it.'-okay, what was the b*** trying to insinuate? Making herself feeling better because the mighty Grissom did not welcome her advance?

With justifiable reason or not, at least Sara let the words out for Grissom to hear. Gutsy.

What a wise man that Mike was. Poor Sara poured her guts out to give him the brief history of her life. It's sad that her happiness was hinged on that emotionally unavailable Grissom.

And he chose to call her now.

Sara was on the fact-finding mission and would try to have better understanding about her past and her mother. It surely was nice Mike would be there to provide her with some info and assistance.

It was so sad when you wrote that one thing Sara was good at was becoming numb. But how long you can suppress your feelings? However, she had to do what she thought was right for her. Staying on the job and facing the Grissom/Sofia fiasco was utterly unbearable.

At least she had the courage to do something about the situation by asking for a leave of absence. The do-nothing Grissom wouldn't be able to take her for granted anymore.

The exchanges taken place between Catherine and Sofia were perfectly done. I could definitely hear Sofia's voice here. Yikes. Grissom better came up with a good excuse for taking that woman to dinner.

What might be Sara's next step? Running away won't solve the problem.

I am glad that Sofia character did not make it to the show on a more regular basis. Couldn't stand her; still don't. Thanks for sharing a good story like this. A good story is a good story no matter how old the story is.
