You know I love how they all just pitch in for each other. The chemistry between Xelloss and Lina is really good! And from this point of view Sylphiel is a better match for Gourry. Lina and Xelloss fit well here to me because Lina really seems to enjoy as well as need to be challenged in every way. Xelloss is definetly a challenge worthy of Lina's "talents"!

I thought this was delightful. I loved the way all the characters interacted, and I'm a big XL fan. You should write more stories!

I have to say though, that your descriptions of the food in this fic drove me to go make myself a sandwich. It's also left me rather lonely for a truffle. Good job!

I also thought it was hilarious that you referred to Xellos having the "Beautiful Man" role. I know exactly what you're talking about. It's just that when I refer to this character type in anime I usually term it as the "Man Whore". So funny!

Oh, and the poem you prepared for Xellos to have written Lina was awesome. It wasn't too corny or over the top. It felt really genuine and real. Excellent!

The last thing was that I was wondering why Lina was being so easy about going to bed with Xel. I was thinking - would she really behave that causually about it? But, if she had been sleeping with the guy for ten years then - yeah - she would be that casual about it. Making them be married was an awesome touch and totally took me off guard.

Aw, that was super cute. I liked the idea of Xelloss doing human traditions. That was really cute. Did you make the poem yourself? I liked it. In conclusion, very nicely written. I was a bit confused by the ending at the end at first, but I finally understood it. Great job.

I think definetely one of my personal favorite aspects of this piece is the calm surrealism you seem to bespell us with from the very beggining. Even at the most tense moment you still keep easing your readers into a sense of sophisticated calmness that showed great skill with words. An easygoing plot with a very nice, lighthearted ending, this was definetely very appropriate for a valentines day fic.

hehe, I got a kick out of Zel's tradition. Very nice and romantic. Beautiful imagery. You seemed to have got the characters right on again. Nicely done. Until next time,
