You are my absolute favorite when it comes to writing about Dilandau. He will forever be a favorite as well. I can only hope you will continue to write on and never stop. I've never reread anyone's fiction as much as I've reread yours. Please continue and thank you!

Okay, I haven't read through the whole thing yet. School and stuff to do. But I'm so glad you've updated! I praise you! And things are bound to get interesting now. The story is moving along nicely and I'm eager to know what happens next. :) Will post a proper review when my exams are over.

I just read through your story. I wasn't quiet sure what to expect when I started since you don't have a summary, but I was pleasantly surprised. I'm interested in how you're going to handle Celena's personality when she goes with Refina. Will she completely revert to Dilandau? I hope you decide to continue.

And they meet! But there were a lot of other things going on too. I liked what you did with King Aston. The notion of him as having been young and in his prime drew a nice contrast to the old man we see on his death bed.

Your Eries was compelling too. Though, with all that she's dealing with now, I can't help but wonder who she'll turn to for help (if she does).

And of course, there's Celena. It's interesting how she had a sort of dreamy awareness of Dilandau's past, but not all of it yet. Thanks for the update!

I like what you did here with Refina. It's an interesting take on her character and also ironic, insofar as Dilandau's opinion of women in the military.

Your writing is quite clean and efficient. Very nice. Editing can be a thankless task, and though I've not read this story in its original form, the work you've put into it isn't for nothing. I'll make an effort to drop back in and say a thing or two about the other two chapters as well. Cheers!

Interesting developments you've got going on here. I especially like what you've done with Van, fleshing out the developments we saw him go through during the series while showing where he still needs to grow.

And Celena's got some pretty exciting stuff (well for me, anwyay) in store, doesn't she? I can't wait to see what'll happen if/when she meets Refina. She's frustrated, and she's already semi-regressed back to Dilandau once. Ah well, I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Also, a bit unrelated, but I really enjoyed the imagery in this chapter. The wording and the general picture those words drew really stood out to me.

Ok, first, I love the perspectives of the story. They're clear, defined, and very much infused with a sense of the personality of the character we're seeing the action through. Refina was a stand out in that regard. I really got the sense that she was a Zaibach soldier-patriotic, aware of her country's imperfections, but willing to fight for the greater cause it was pursuing.

Also, the beginning and end of the first chapter were (chilling). They fit really well with Dilandau's disappearance and reemergence, because if anything, the guy can send shivers down a man's spine.

Good, good stuff. Very, very good writing. Definitely looking forward to more!

It took me a little bit to remember all of the details. I mean, shit lady, we were in HIGH SCHOOL when we watched this one together.

But then I read the part about the fire, and I heard a maniacal little voice crying "Burn! Burn!" ... And I was like, oh yeah! That's the plot.

Then I remembered, "Escaflowne repair bill!" Which is probably the best line in ANY ANIME EVER.

You build so slowly, so delicately. You mentioned something in there about tension ready to snap .. well, that's what you did in those first few chapters. You wound and wound the wire, until Celena snaps and remembers she's a cross dresser. - The anticipation made her inevitable awakening all the sweeter to witness.

I haven't read any of your shit since our crazy free writes after school. I remember Allen taking a few trips to the closet, yes? Van, too? Van was more yours than mine, though. Ahh, the closet ... Reading this brings back memories. XD Thank you, Tally!

Hm...intriguing. Capital work, capital. I suppose you do have to include Van (and all his heroic tragedy) into this story. I'm glad he's taking an interest in Refina. But I'm even gladder that Celena's taking an interest in Refina. That part with Ruhm describing the reinforcement of the outer walls sounds like the tent scene in Mulan with General Li pointing out where the Huns attacked. Or that's just me renewing my Mulan obsession. Anyway, great story. I'm really looking forward to Refina in the next chapter. :D Great work. I haven't been able to really chat with you for a while. Hi. I had to logout to be able to review this chapter. Nice work. Sorry it took me this long to respond. Glad you're back and that you've updated. Very vivid descriptions. The battle scene of the Dragonslayers and Van seemed even better. Celena's hysteria was chilling to read about. I wonder that Eries was this slow to react or slow enough not to realize the gravity of the situation. But then again, she wants to be optimistic. Dr. Shefali needs some Stresstabs. The events in the Schezar Manor are getting darker and stranger indeed. The maids might be considering leaving. At any rate, glad to see Dilandau's back. But then again, I'm also surprised that a bunch of women were able to restrain him. But his venomous vocabulary is back with a vengeance. Can't wait to read the next chapter.

Will Celena and Dilandau actually be able to interact? What will happen now? Will Celena have to escape?
