This is really good story, and I can see romance (especially) in wartime often developing like this: desperate sex and then, later, emotions. It's too bad you can't add third category here, since I might have added humour because of the later chapters. Especially chapter 16 was just LOL :D

This was anamazing fic! I love bottom snape soooo much! I wonder, have you ever thought about doing a sequel for this? You know? Like a romance/humor or something story that tells of their time at Hogwarts and how their relationship develops more? Just and idea, nothing more. Think about it. Other than that, you are an amazing writer and I enjoyed reading this story!

It's so wonderful to find AU that doesn't follow canon - not to mention, there is the whole 'writing ahead' of canon thing, so you get to give Snape any past you like. I certainly like. Canon sucked, it was shallow and derivitive... not a problem with your work! Which I expect to finish with tomorrow, unless you have a blog. ?

Great ending - I love how IC and yet emotional (emotion not a Rowling success) Snape is, and how not-grounded Kingsley really was, contrary to even Severus' belief. Your Snape is always so ready to shoot himself in the foot - it's pure magic that keeps him alive, not his own cleverness at all.

That is something else I really enjoy in your work - magic. You present a life involving magic on very deep levels, as well as the easy, daily unconscious use of magic. As far as I can tell, this is one aspect that you've really grown into using; I hope you have something non-fan and spectacularly publishing going on right now.

The story so far has been absolutely, unquestionably lovely. Your writing is fantastic, and has few to no errors. The plot is intriguing and I cannot seem to tear myself away.

This was brilliant, probably the best opening chapter I've ever read! I was giggling almost hysterically at the end and am getting some reall weird looks! Lol

I've never read a story with Kingsley in it, I really liked it!

Loved the story. I think what I liked best was the very 'realness' of the romance. It wasn't hearts and kisses or, god forbid, soul mates. I think a lot of love happens accidentally. oh and I loved Lupin in the end. Overall a wonderful story.
