I've always found Bellatrix before Voldermort interesting; the way she can alter her perception and convince herself that it was truth is simply brilliant and fascinating. Brilliant piece though. Thanks.

I enjoyed Bella's human side: For that one snap of a moment, she seemed to posses basic human compassion, and even though it was gone just as quickly as it came, it was sweet to see once upon a time (very long ago), Bellatrix had a heart.

I love this-"evil" people aren't born, definitely. And I always found it ironic that Bellatrix and so many others who seem so determined to be independent and...headstrong follow Voldemort quite, well, blindly...

(And cheers for Bellatrix telling Sirius to wash his face! )

I didn't ever think I'd ever enjoy reading a Bellatrix fluff fic. I guess I was wrong.

She's still a selfish brat; I like how you didn't change that.

Because this is a snapshot of everyday life, and because you didn't swing Bellatrix's character to either extreme (good or bad), this was actually believable.

Even though she is crazy in the books, it's not like she came out of the womb shooting killing curses and hating muggles.

It's always nice to think that she was nice once. Great job!

I really like it! It's always good to see Bellatrix in a different way... and, although we know Bellatrix and Sirius hated each other once they grew up, it's always important to remember they're family, and there is a story before their breach...

Is it Cassandra? I love that name. In the books her name's Walburga though I like Cassie better. Bella's actually kind of nice in this one though...

Very interesting characterization. One would expect Bellatrix to be stern and, obviously, already taking wind of her aristocracy, but her boldness was unexpected.

haha the only thing is i kinda pictured bella swearing more, but its ok : ] hehe i love how you give bella half a heart. its like she cares, but not really, but its easy to picture that "not really" to dwindle to nothing when sirius gets sorted to gryffindor later...but back to the story! honestly, sirius seems a bit off, but then again, im used to Marauder!Sirius (hehe) with james and remus and (RAT) ahem, what? *innocent look* oh yeah...peter. pettigrew. (#$% him!) um yeah, but anyways, i guess this is a pretty good stab at how his life would have been. after all, he was still being brainwashed by the Black family at that time, so of course he would listen to bella.
