This is really good. I only have one tiny nitpick... the planet name that you used at the end PX-496710 should be more like P4X-967. You might have already known this and just wanted to change it up, but I just thought I'd let you know.

Really great start as I can see Daniel getting really frustrated with Julie and of course Jack not being able to concentrate until he hears from Sam. Here's hoping there's more :)

Wow, it's a grat start. Poor Daniel is going to have his hands full. Jack has tough choices to make and I like the adventure that Teal'c and Carter are going to have to get home. Can't wait until the next chapter.
