Reviews for I See
AzurCeleste chapter 1 . 9/22/2016
This is a fascinating look into jafar's time as a djinn, and a damn sight better than the sometimes ridicuolous film. Oh, don't mistake me, I love Abis Mal to bits, but you have to admit that the plot can really grate on the nerves sometimes. So your fic is a much needed addition to Disney fanfic. I like your closing lines the best, and I bet you were saving them for such an occasion, too.

I...wow. *sniffs* I think I need to go watch Aladdin again.
P.A.W.07 chapter 1 . 3/6/2011
I'm torn... i don't know if I should feel bad for Jafar or not. You really threw me in for a loop; I was expecting a happy or hanging ending, not a slightly dark one. Well done.
SilverInkblot chapter 1 . 1/28/2010
Oh MAN, I can't even begin to describe this gem of a fanfic. A little ooc for Jafar here and there, but all in all this is pretty much perfect. I love Najla's ingorant wisdom in this, and you've got several great lines that really stand out. Excellent writing!
The Magic Pocket Turtle chapter 1 . 9/16/2009
Beautiul. Simply beautiful. Well written, so that both the dialougue and prose were captivating. Beautiful.
BakerStreetIsLastRefugeOfHope chapter 1 . 6/19/2009
A great story. Very good.
snarky Beth chapter 1 . 11/16/2008
Absolutely awesome story! I never though Jafar could be so... human. Najla is such a sweet child, I pray that she finds someone to care for her.

The ending was just brilliant, I love the irony of Jafar ending right back where he started, hehe. His sarcasm was fun to read and even though cannon Jafar probably wouldn't care about helping the girl, I feel that the way you wrote everything made it believable for me :)

Once again, great story!
Cantare chapter 1 . 9/3/2008
Well, I'm kind of late in reviewing this. Excellent concept. I have focused on disability in my research at school, particularly blindness, and I really appreciate that you used a character who was blind in order to teach Jafar a valuable lesson. The story was very moving, and I didn't think Jafar was too out of character. I could understand his hate and desire for revenge, and his impatience with a child. It was also easy to understand his unnerved reaction to Najla's blindness and her sincerity in everything, even when she said he wanted to be free of her just like everyone else, and that she could already see. Her wish was a clever twist in the story. The ending sentences are great, summing up your message well. Hope you write more Aladdin fics in the future.

DewWater chapter 1 . 6/9/2006
Good, good, good! :D

I know I sound like an idiot, but did Najla know all along that Jafar had evil intentions, or did she truly think that he would appreciate her sending him back to the middle of the desert where they met?
Olive Hue chapter 1 . 4/10/2006
Holy crap, that was good. Like, shockingly good. I've never read any Aladdin fics, but wow. This is going on my faves list. Keep up the awesome work!
