Two thumbs up. Also, I doubt she will develop crows' feet, or saggy arms, or any of those other signs that gravity is NOT your friend. Bob's estimation of her (with which I largely agree) should be quite accurate for MANY years to come.

This is a great story! You've captured the Helen character very well. You've got a lot of talent as an author. Maybe you can write more chapters of different characters insecurities as they get older? Maybe when the kids are in their mid to late teens? I don't know, merely a suggestion, but I really want to read more of your brilliant writing! Keep up the great work!

I remember after seeing the film, thinking that Helen must have had the easiest labors in the world - the doctor says "push," and ten seconds later she's done ... :-D

Faved this. There just isn't enough Helenfic in the fandom, and this is a very nice one. It's good "snapshot" fic that captures Helen's personality well and really has the same feel as the film. She and Bob's conversation was spot-on for their relationship. I hope you write these characters again.
