This is one of the most well written stories I’ve ever read. Every detail is captivating and the love between James and Lily is so natural.

I actually started reading this when I was thirteen, still enjoying it now when I am twenty three. From the beginning I loved your sense of character and the fact your story wasn't consumed by unnecessary dialogue. I feel like you must be very in tune with yourself the way you voice the inner thoughts of these characters. As a reader I appreciated your devotion to details, in my mind's eye I could see the story play out beautifully- without the sugar coating of the rawness that is existence during war.

One chapter in, and I am in love. That was fast. I like how you're portraying Lily, your James looks like he will everything I look for in a James Potter, and it looks like other characters will have a lot of depth too, such as Emmeline.

Beautifully written prologue, it has really sparked my interest in this story.
