Wow , seriously! It's been like 7-8 years since you've updated and you've left several readere dying to know what happened! I made it all the way to chapte 11 before finding out you stopped updating and so I quit reading completely. Wahh! This is just so unacceptable! I've read the last few paragraphs in the last chapter and my heart was instantly broken. This is why I absolutely hate reading fictions on hold or discontinued! Couldn 't you have just told the readers if it was discontinued or not? This made me so sad but it was well written so I liked it. The whole reason I started reading this fiction was because I've recently just finished your fan fiction about horses. I believe it was called "Possession"? I think it is. Anyways, I loved tha fan fiction and it was really well-written and developed. I hope you update this or something soon. Which I highly doubt you will, no offense. But I still have that little shred of hope in me that belives you will ! Fingers crossed and I wish you happy ... Writing.

i find it kinda funny when authors say this kind of thing 'cause i'm all like "cool they did not end the story", then i look up and see - Updated: Aug 6, 2007 - , and in that instant i'm all like "or maybe they did".

I am insanely in love with this story. The angst is so well written and tangible - I could feel all that Naruto's feeling and have a deep appreciation for a writer that can make me empathize and connect with a character on this level.

This plot line is simply great and different and I love it. And the character portrayals! Ohh, I'm in love with them - with your Naruto especially. I love the developing relationship between him and Sasuke and love his and Neiji's friendship. I'm surprised this doesn't have more reviews! But this completely deserves more reviews! Looking forward to read more. Thanks for sharing!

In my opinion, the fic took way, way, way too long for Sasuke to actually show up and get to the alliance part. (Which was what the summary had promised, and why I'd picked up the story to begin with.) Some of the stuff prior to this chapter felt like padding to me, or was stuff that just didn't hold my attention. You're a really good fic writer and I've loved all the other stories you've written, but this one just doesn't do it for me, I'm sorry to say. I think you should change the summary of the story to make it more representative of what the fic is actually about (Naruto's struggles with his past and with the current war situation), and probably change the character filter to just Naruto. (You could mention in the summary that there would be some SasuNaru, however. But the fact remains there's far more with the other couples, and especially with Naruto himself, than there is with SasuNaru. The vast majority of it is just Naruto's feelings, which is what makes this a "Naruto" fic, rather than a SasuNaru pairing fic in the strictest sense of the word.) I think if the fic had been more accurately described in the summary, I wouldn't have come into the fic expecting one thing, and then left feeling annoyed when I didn't get it. Under other circumstances, I think I would have really enjoyed this fic.
