I have this fic years ago and I just finished re-reading it tonight (or morning whatever you want to look at).

I thought it was very cute, that Shino was the alternate world's Kenshin. _ You wrote Sano's POV very very well. It was an adventure to be with him. XD I was hoping that Sano would laugh himself silly when he was a male Tae or male Kaoru. ;

That was cool when he returned to his own world to see Kenshin and the gang. :D Poor thing. Crying his eyes out. *hugs* I love the special bond between Kenshin and Sanosuke. I' yaoi fan BUT I do love the Sano and Kenshin friendship fics. 3 I'm pretty flexible when it comes to fic reading. 3

I was curious about other people's reviews and something caught my eye. You had a chapter 17. What happened to it? Is Remembrance Part 2? If it is, why did you take it down?

I hope you will complete this fic soon. I also love your Minshifter fic. I'll have to re-read that again. :D

why did you stop this story? it's really good! unique, gripping, suspenseful, confusing... it's got the makings for greatness! not to mention it's about Sano, which means it's just plain gonna be wonderful as long as you keep him in character, which you do a fairly good job with.

WHY DID YOU STOP? you should start again!

I've read all of this in large chunks over the course of two days, so all the little details of what I wanted to say are jumbled together in my head. *So*, all I have left is that this is great. Just...great. I like how Shino is similar to Kenshin, yet not. I like how she's so sweet, and how much she and Sano love each other. I definitely can't wait to find out what happened with Enishi and Tomoe...

Also, I *loved* the last line.

Aw, she's so nice, in that Himura way, lol. She lets the kids think they got it all on their own! Which is better than plain charity really...That was so cute, how she went all swirly and Sano started laughing. Lol!

And now...She'll be getting the sword lessons, but how will she pay him back? by helping him find a way back? I wonder if any other people from Sano's world have fallen into this one? Great chapter!

Another awesome chapter. I really can't wait to find out more about Shino. Why she's ended up the way she has.. and that scar! Man, a reverse world, this is so cool. And Sano's thoughts on everything heh, when he was thinking of Kaoru as a boy, Yahiko as a girl, and so on, I couldn't stop giggling. I could so see the expression on his face! And someone's beginning to fall for someone...

You write Sano so well. And Shino is a very very interesting character! What is her relation to Kenshin? For some reason, I keep thinking Sano has fallen into an alternate world...because he was in Mongolia. And now he's in Kyoto...and Shino..the scar...and...well, the genre also says supernatural. Im so excited, I can't wait to read more.

Gwah! Well, update this one or The Mindsifter soon. I want to know what happens next!

OK, two things - 'constructive criticisms' they call 'em, I didn't comment when I noticed them because I was in too much of a hurry to read the next bit: You seem to consistently misspell 'waist' as 'waste,' as in 'grabbed him about the waste.' A mind is a terrible thing to waste. A waist is a terrible thing to mind. ;D Oh, and you gave Sano's family a surname; at least I assume you gave it. I know in the flashback in manga two he specifically said to Captain Sagara 'even a farmer's son like me will be able to take on a last name?' They weren't samurai, i.e. they had no surname.

There! I've been constructively critical, now I can go back to being admiring. Adorable stuff. I love your characterizations. So, what is the story that goes with Shino's scar? We'll be waiting. -

Wow. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this story. Do you know how many own charecters serving as the second protagonist I have ever liked? One. And it is yours. Feel honored, as most drive me to nearly flame someone, and I simply want to give Shino a big hug. Everything about this story, your charecters, the plot, the ideas, the charecterization, your language, the flow, IT'S SUPERB. The idea behind it is wholely unique, and quite refreshing from the usual revenge-type stories. A breath of fresh air amidst so much sewage and bad grammar. I dearly love Sano, and you portray him as something much deeper than the thoughtless hot-head most people make him out to be, and much more true to himself. This is one of my favorite stories ever, and definitely my favorite of him. And Shino! I mentioned her earlier, but I love her too. Truly, a counterpart for Kenshin, and no less remarkable. She is excellent. I admire your own charecter much more than how most people write ones I already like. Everything about this story is beyond belief. Please, please, please update! If only for me! Alright, that sounded a bit selfish, as it's obvious you put quite a bit of time into it, and that is a lot to ask, but I'm not going to retract the statement. PLEASE! I AM ON MY KNEES BEGGING! UPDATE! C'MON... WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO? TELL ME! I'LL DO ANYTHING AMAZING AUTHOR PERSON! PLEASE!

I really love your stories! This one is particular is very heartwrenching for me, because its told in a flashback with a great deal of longing for a lost loved one. I think that you are a great writer!

Sano's narrative is so in character. And I absolutely love Shino, and liked her from the first chapter. I thought I would find her strange, being "Kenshin" from another world, but I think that she is really neat in that she is Kenshin, but yet her own character as well! I am looking forward to the rest of it, although I have the feeling this story will have a teary end!

God, this fic updated on my birthday, and I haven't checked until a month after the fact.

Your writing style makes it feel so *real*. Sanosuke isn't the lovable, trouble-making rooster head he is in the anime or manga, he's a real person who grew. He retains part of his old self, but still...

My God, I really can't wait until the second part. This fic is just beautiful. Really.

Oh wow. That just brought tears to my eyes and a lump to my throat. This was so touching. The voice of an elderly Sano...at peace with his life, and comfortable with his death, about to tell us his story..I'm hooked already. I can't wait to read more!
