Not a Sam/Janet fan but this story was really nice. Well written and you managed to capture Sam's fear very well. That woman is hard as steel. Glad to have seen Daniel, nice to have him there and the Colonel is described very accurately and also Sam's and Janet's interactions were written great! I would have expected / hoped for another chapter in the infirmary but alas, your story is finished. Well done

Looking at your authors notes, I had forgotten how problematic f/f stories could be in the late 90s and early 2000s. You barely touched on it and people were getting upset with you. Anyway, a great story, thanks for posting it!

What an absolutely beautiful story. My only complaint is that I wished you'd given us a final chapter with some serious comfort after all that breath taking hurt. Any chance you could re-visit this story with an epilogue, you know after all that pain and suffering, I'd love to have seen a chapter's worth of warmth and comfort. Anyway, I know its an old story, but its just wonderfully written.

This a good story. The characterization is very good. Like that Daniel is there for her. Hope more is coming soon.

I, too, don't generally read even the implied slash fics, but this was so well written that I read it top to bottom. The description in it is excellent, allowing the reader to visualize Sam's predicament and what happens to her. Well done (again). You're on my alert list!
