Very cute story.

Apologies for not reviewing before.

I've read and re-read this story...and I will certainly read it again. It wasisawesome. Daniel getting help from Omoc and the Nox, then meeting and befriending the Ur-mah-gal...I loved it. Especially adored Denali and Daniel's relationship...so sad that he cannot come to Earth with Daniel. As for Daniel being the onky one the Ur-mah-gal were able to connect with so deeply, well, Daniel always was one of a kind and especially sensitive/spiritual/open minded.

It was extremely satisfying for me that Maybourne had to depend on Daniel's generousity in the end and that the horrible decision to take Daniel off SG1 and out of the Stargate Programm got overturned.

Loved your characterizations, they were very believable and I think that could have happened in canon. I wish it had been canon. Daniel making friends with the 'Lion Cats' wasn't that much of a surprise- he always had exceptional talent when it came to charm people...or other beings (remembering Chaka in particular).

Thank you for writing this gem of a story. You have exceptional talent, IMO.

I greatly enjoyed this story, it was very heart-warming.

What another absolutely brilliant story! I grinned from the moment I imagined Daniel in command of these cats all the way through. The angst in this story was beautifully written, and it was SO satisfying to see Maybourne get his just desserts. :D The plotline was original, and I would have loved to see Daniel go even more native though I do understand he needed to get back to the SGC.

Oh my. I love the Ur-mah-gal so much. I was hoping that Denali would come through the gate with them. It was very sweet, and the reactions of the SGC in general at having a giant cat on base were great. I am enjoying this story inexpressibly much.

I am loving this story so far! It's so heart-breaking and...amazing! And I love that Jack isn't saying goodbye to Daniel. Kind of like Threads- "I'm not falling for it this time!" XD

I love Not Quite So Young. I am a little confused in this chapter. You have Daniel and Jack talking about how Daniel has been through worse and that he has already died twice. However, you have this taking place during and after Enigma which is in season one. Daniel has been though once, but he has only 'died' once one Abydos as far as I can remember. Please let me know if there is a second time he has died. Thanks and thank you for sharing.

This story was amazing. The characterization was perfect, but more than that, the story really read like an actual episode, with subplots and aliens and missions. It was really unique and original. Good job.
