This cries out for a sequel where Dumbledore meets with the order, trying to blame Snape for being the reason Harry left. A projected pensieve memory of last meeting between Harry & Dumbles should interrupt. Take it from there. Great story.

The ironic follow up is for Voldemort to protect Harry and let him live his life unmolested.

To those commenting "oh, but Voldie will still go after HP even if he's given up magic !", don't you think that HP (and he has clearly sought advice from some other source - Gringotts goblins perhaps) has not sought to "cover all bases" and have himself a well plotted escape plan and route before activating ?

I'm sure Harry felt pretty good after his temper tantrum and giving the finger to everyone. And then the next day when he had calm down he realized that Voldemort was still probably going to come and kill him and that without his magic his chances of surviving were non existent. Oopsy !

Well I hope for Harry that there is no magical mean to track down muggle/squib because if there is Voldemort is probably going to come to get his revenge on him. If Harry did not care about the magical world at all why not make a deal with Voldemort to ensure the dark lord neutrality ? He can easly show him that the prophecy can become a protection for both of them. Because by doing what he just did, sure he doomed the wizarding world (and the muggle one too) but he also doomed himself.

It seems to me that you for sure are a moron, let face it every crap you write had Harry been the one to pay, plus the stupidity of hr/moron. Are seen your reflection on a moron when you write.

I believe I've read this once before but it's still good. Dumbledore is as stupid as he is a moron. Even in cannon he gave Harry no reason to want to live but every reason to die. So why should he be surprised when Harry tells him so and gives up his magic before leaving the magical world forever? Nor has the magical world done anything to help him. So why is it a surprise when Harry decides to simply walk away?
