Reviews for Torn Apart
Ash chapter 1 . 5/23/2012
I love james byron dean :) 3 even though it was short, I appreciate you writing this. The only constructive critism I can offer is to work on some mistakes in your spelling, and maybe write something longer? ;) lol jk jk good job
LilianClassic chapter 1 . 8/10/2010
"This story was shorter than Daisy Duke's shorts" aha good one ;D Anyway I thought it was a nice little story, even if it was short, it seemed simple...yet said alot. You know what I mean? aha, anyway it would cool if you elaborted a little bit more though. Nice job :D
Meltha chapter 1 . 1/11/2010
Yes, I'm sure Jim would have somehow blamed himself for all of it going wrong.
theladyisatiger chapter 1 . 9/14/2009
I like that you left it a little bit open at the end. left me feeling unsettled, like the end of the movie did. I think I even liked this more than the other story you wrote.
acrossthestars87 chapter 1 . 10/21/2008
Very impressed. Although it was short, it sums up how Jim would have been feeling.
theworldastage chapter 1 . 6/17/2008
Could definitely see this happening - that conversation, his feeling of guilt.

Just one thing - the ending seemed a bit too open. Not saying you need complete closure there, but an extra line or two would enhance!
LuckyLadybug chapter 1 . 7/4/2006
This is a good beginning. I'd like to see you expand the subject and turn it into a big story someday. :) It makes sense that Jim would blame himself. I'd like to see what happened to him and Judy after the events of the movie, and how Jim's relationship with his parents went. You could probably make quite an angsty full-length story out of this material if you are ever so inclined.
StrongRex chapter 1 . 7/27/2005
Hey, Bath! It's Tonyboy! Anyway, this one-shot (if that's what you plan on making it) is very good! I'm glad I took the time to read this.

You know, I thought Plato reminded me a little bit of Johnny Cade from The Outsiders, except Johnny was less violent and a bit nicer and more timid than Plato. I tried getting my sister (BookRose) to watch Rebel with me, but she wasn't too impressed with it. She wasn't impressed with James Dean (or his character anyway, but that was mostly because she thought his voice sounded weird! lol.), and she just found it hard to follow.

Anyway, I'm going to read your other Rebel Without A Cause fic, and I'm going to go ahead and wrap this up.

Tonyboy/Daniel

P.S. Anyway, I'm still waiting for an update of your West Side Story fic!
Stargazer-Lillies chapter 1 . 7/14/2005
I liked it... Don't feel stupid for asking me to review your story... i didn't think anyone would ever read mine...

Long Live James Dean!
