I freaking loved reading this story!

This had an interesting and complex plot that kept me reading. The interaction between Snape and Hermione really didn't work for me - he was mean and she was childish, so it made the pairing seem wrong. I kept thinking this was going to turn into a Hermione Draco or even Harry story. But like I said the plot was entertaining so overall I enjoyed it.

Very interesting premise. I like the use of the portrait for communication.

As much as I enjoyed this story, it was way too drawn out with very little HGSS action. It's good if you're into a lot of plot and slow burns, but there's just too much of it sometimes. Still, a nice read.

Do you know how long it's been since I cried in a fanfic, or a book for that matter? Absolutely beautiful wedding! I cannot express how happy I am to have found this story. Usually I stick with the harder ratings because frankly I enjoy smut, and I hope there are more compelling stories there. But I've had a change of heart recently. I've decided to make my way through the k completed fics! Yours is the top favorite on this site and it's not hard to see why. I am so excited to continue this journey! I am picky about what stories I will read and recommend, and so far, this is EVERYTHING I look for in a fic. I'm gonna get back into this. If not before, I'll see you at the end.
