This story was an emotional rollercoaster. I can't tell you how many times I cried reading this. I'm so happy Wilson survived! Very well written!

Wow, you really do have a 'thing' for Wilson...by the time this story was written, we already knew that Wilson was a lying, manipulative and conspiring creep of a friend...I am hoping you have figured out who Wilson is by now...6 years later.

Great story. Very well written. I'm sure I read this story many years ago because some of the Conni scenes have been floating round my memory and I could never work out if they were part of the show or not. I'd be sitting there deciding which episode to watch and wondering, 'which was the one that Wilson ran off with a cancer patient in?' or 'which one did House smuggle an ill/drunk Wilson onto a plane?'

I can read most fics without crying but there are several scenes in this that made my vision blurry... it should come with a tissue alert! Lol. :P

This line “If our only other alternative is adopting kids, then I think I’ll go with this.” is great... they are so married! Lol. no wonder Wilson's marriages don't work out he is already married to House... but neither of them realise it!

I just read the story and even though it's years late, just wanted to say that what a lovely story it is. H and W are so in-character, and so are the C and the ducklings. I teared a bit in the last 2 chapters. Thank you for writing this.

Phew! that was a really hard read. Made me shed tears in places I have to say, but the irony of the story did make me chuckle at the beginning, such is my sick, perverted, sense of humour at times :-)

Certainly made a change Wilson being in danger, not many of those stories around and I thoroughly enjoyed the tale.

This is one of my all-time favourite House fics, and very well written. Why aren't you writing more House? Over a year and nothing? Consider this shameless begging.

Wow... that was a great story. Loved how House and Wilson handled everything and how House refused to give up on his friend... and it's a good thing he didn't.

Totally agree with his reasoning on the surgeon - if you got nothing to lose people tend to get sloppy about doing the stuff.

So thank you very much for sharing this story, I enjoyed it immnensely!
