This entire thing was good until the very last chapter, which felt rushed and awkward, and was hugely disappointing. The rape was emotional and gritty, their love was inspiring and relatable. Writing the entire thing off as a dream during Kagome's coma really felt sloppy. I felt like the rape strengthened Kagome and InuYasha's resolve as friends, and tested their devotion to each other as a couple. Seeing InuYasha struggle with what his demon had done gave a great deal of insight to his character and kept the reader on their toes, wondering what might happen next. I was disappointed that there wasn't a scene depicting Inu and Kagome making love, as I desperately wanted that tender contrast against the hot and heavy rape scene. Inu cleaning her wounds, guarding her so protectively at all times, the way he softened to her pain and came out of his shell to heal her both physically and mentally, all of these things were amazing and I'm still craving more. I wanted to see more of a relationship develop between them, and I wanted to see more of their transition into parenthood. Honestly, I feel like nothing was really hashed out after the rape scene, and I felt like the whole coma thing was trying a little too hard and ultimately missing it's mark. If she had made love to Inu of her own free will - why not go the route from the get-go? You took a harrowing experience and built a massively complex and heartfelt relationship for these two characters, only to dismiss the entire thing in the last chapter as something that had never actually happened at all? This was beautifully well written and I'm absolutely crushed with the end result. I want more sex, more emotion, more struggle that ultimately highlights the love these two people have for each other. This is just so ... upsetting.

Okay. That was the biggest plot twist I've seen since the latest Doctor Who Christmas special.

This story has good bones but nothing else.

Work on tenses, sentence structure, imagery, and, overall add to this. Its a good story (albeit the plot already recycled several times over), but the text is lacking the emotions you have the potential to evoke.

Overall, good plot, but execution is weak. It grew increasingly difficult to continue reading because interest is lost and grammatical errors interrupt constantly. I'd recommend getting a beta reader.
