Um, actually they did butcher it. A LOT. They got horrible voice actors and changed the dialogue. They took out the kiss scene as well as all the blood. The also changed the jutsu names. Hell, they can't even pronounce jutsu correctly! The voice actors can't pronounce anything correctly (Except Yuri, Sasuke V.A). Did you see the original Naruto? If not well, then I suggest you watch that instead of the crap that's airing on cartoon network. Naruto coming to America is one of the worst things that could ever happen. I really wish that Viz didn't get it...I prefer watching the subs much much better.
