This is a great piece ... the way in which Light admits and yet denies his feelings for one he uses is very well written, as is his thinking of loving her in only material terms.

Wow, that's really beautiful. It somehow makes their relationship very touching... even as I'm thinking about how disturbing it should be to read this. The "Raito loves me" meter is just perfect characterization of Misa, the kind of kooky fangirl love she has, which is in stunning contrast to her death-to-all-who-stand-in-Kira's-way attitude.

Nice fic. They do have a rather complex relationship. She practically worships the land he walks on, while Raito, from we've seen so far, seems only to use her for his own gain. But, who knows; maybe they'll become closer. Misa certainly has the dedication necessary to make things work out.
