I was just looking back through old fanfics (missing the old, simpler times with Kate) and came across the description for this one. I thought it would be interesting to read a story written just months after Kate's death had first aired, now ten years later. I've had my own story floating in my head about the team reminiscing on the ten year anniversary, so it was really interesting to read someone's perspective of the possible future, when that future is now.

Anyway, it definitely made me tear up, and though it is a beautiful story, I have to admit I'm glad that that's not how it has gone down (so far!) on the show. I still love me some Gibbs. Hope you're still writing!

I'm sure I've read this on another site, a while ago. Loved it then and love it now.

That's acutally a really good closer story to the whole ordeal.

That was incredible. Sad, yes, but incredible. I loved it. I started crying when McGee said "The weather was bad..." and I only stopped at the last line, telling myself how stupid I was for crying like a baby.

That was heartbreaking-what a sad story!

I like the ICness of it-the way Tony and McGee are

with each other and how poor Tim had to tell Tony

about Gibbs.
