After most recently getting back into Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, I truly enjoyed reading this story for a number of reasons:

1. It's a nice retelling of the Gundam SEED plot.

2. The OCs featured were pretty cool.

3. Several of my favorite characters (Nicol, Asagi, Juri, Mayura, etc.) survived the series.

4. Athrun, Nicol, Yzak, and Dearka all join the heroes rather early on (in the show itself Nicol didn't even live to do so, and Yzak only joined in the final episodes).

5. Nicol and Mayura actually get together.

6. Lowe Guele of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Astray appears, and Juri's crush on him was referenced.

7. There are buildups leading into Shinn's story.

If I had my complaints, one would be that Mu La Flaga survived because his death was one of the biggest moments of the show. Another nitpick would be that Kira's friends in Miriallia, Tolle, Sai, and Kuzzey don't appear very much in the later chapters. Other than those, I really enjoyed reading this fanfic.

Mediocre. And your understanding of the characters (especially Cagalli and Athrun) and the events is poor.

Your story is well-written and accurate on both character and technical details. You're doing an awesome job. Even though Alex is the main character instead of Athrun or Kira, your story fits in really well. Keep up the good work!

I just loved this story took me all day but so worth it, I loved that you kept Flay alive in this too and not made her crazy like so many fans thinks she is. thanks for the stoey man and loved the ending too.

Is the Anubis Gundam based on the Nu Gundam?

First story I read on this site definitely one of the better stories. Very enjoyable. I noticed that you tend do use certain phrases repetitively aside form that no criticisms from me.

Thi was a good way to retell Gundam seed. Kira saying that flay would be moving in with his family shows how much there realationship is important to them and how his parents have view her as a good girl for him. Lacus and Athrun deciding to have a real relationship was also a good idea, as well as Cagalli and someone else being pair. Athrun/Cagalli is just the protaginist's sister and best friend pairing gimmick that is used so much in pretty much everything and it get so old, its better to have two two just be friends. Kira and athrun are already like brothers, they dont need to actually be brothers in law. Great story and great ending.

Well, it seems that I was able to finish this fic with the loss of sleep. I blame you for guilt-tripping me into reading this, lol.

But in all seriousness, I'll go ahead and give you my final review. You're made of sterner stuff than most reviewers, so hopefully you won't send an e-mail back blasting me or telling me to flip off or whatnot, lol.

While I did greatly enjoy your fic, one of my main issues is with the level of realism, or lack thereof. I had long known that you disagree with some of the character deaths; hell, all of the major players are still alive. And for me, as a reader, that is a bit unrealistic - even more so now since I've watched the series. This is a war - it's difficult to imagine the survivors at the end of canon; but in your fic, EVERYBODY lives. That's is pretty unrealistic, given the large number of enemies they have to fight constantly. And on that note, there is the issue of sparing those extras who are important enough in the series. For example, Dearka and Rena...why is she more important than the numerous other grunts that, say, have even less regard for the Alliance? Sure, she may be an ace, but it looks like a little favorism as well.

Also, there's Alex Strassmeier. He's a very intriguing character, don't get me wrong. However, certain situations that he's in seem awkward at best. With the meeting inside of Mendel, Alex seemed more or less to be a distracting factor, and in the end, I didn't feel as...drawn in as I had during the rest of that chapter. It took away from Mu's revelation, because of Alex's and Athrun's intervention. While I understand that he's an important character, I can't see why his involvement in every major event from canon is a necessity.

Characterization was mostly on point, though there were some major detractions, but I don't need to comment on those.

Spelling and grammar were mostly good, though they started to worsen in some of the later chapters.

There's was also a smidgen of repetition as I went on in the fic. From Athrun constantly saying that Patrick is no longer the father that raised him to Flay constantly telling Kira that he is who he is regardless of his advanced genes kinda also took away from the wowness of your fic. It's fine every once in a while, but here, it happened far too often and started to become an annoyance.

All in all, I was greatly entertained with this fic and I am hoping that you take what I pointed out into account when you continue Destiny Awaits. I look forward to continuing the 'Strassmeier' series.

Hm...nice chapter. The romance was a bit...how can I say...well, it was a bit much. It wasn't bad, but I kinda wanted to get through the chapter without having to be reminded that Alex loves Cagalli and Kira loves Flay repeatedly.

Also, Ezalia...if I remember correctly, she had sided with Zala in canon, so there is definitely a divergence here from canon. Was it because of Alex that she's now being less radical than in the original story?

Aside from those two gripes, I really enjoyed the chapter (so long as you don't remind me they're in love again! j/k, lol). It certainly seems like Orb is in a better position to defend themselves if and when Azrael turns his eyes upon them.

Oh, ouch...that's like telling us, read, but don't make a comment, 'cuz I don't want to hear it, lol. A bit harsh, eh? Push comes to shove, you could simply delete the offending comment, lol.

I was wondering what you meant when you mentioned that I would finally get to see Andrea - I had thought you meant the mention of her in previous chapters...not the actual person. Wow...surprisingly, too.

Of course, I have my gripes about how you've presented the Earth Forces/Blue Cosmos thing, but hey, it's your story, and I'll take it as I see it. Though, you have given me inspiration to try out something a bit different with that angle, though.

So, I can see how Athrun will get the Justice, but how will Kira receive the Freedom is the real question. Are you going to perhaps mirror what Lacus did in 'that' other sequel and have her fly it down to him?
