I definitely like this version much better than the original. I wasn't a big fan of how the relationships had been developed in the first, but they're much more developed and overall make more sense now. The pacing of the story isn't as fast, so it doesn't seem like you're trying to get everything out as fast as possible, but that you're taking the time to write the story as best as you can. There is a definite improvement in spelling, grammar, characterization, and overall storyline.

I like how you've developed this story so far; the background being given at bit by bit makes the plot more interesting. I can't wait to find out about Ishtar and Bakura's past and it'll be interesting to see how Malik, Ryou, Jou, and Yugi explain their powers to everyone. Malik's bracelet hasn't been removed yet, has it? Anyway, I love how you've written this so far and I can't wait to read the rest. Great job and keep up the good work!

Alright, I've got to ask...

The characters seem to have no resemblance to their anime/manga counterparts. Why didn't you just make this an original story? I don't even think Malik had a counterpart in Egypt.
