Honestly I do love these stories but I can't cope with how much is happening and how many powers this kid has, so many things getting revealed about this 5 year old kid, it is just hard to grasp. I am getting a bit like, yeah I get it the kids special or whatever but it's too much! However I know this story is old. And I still liked the first book.

In the meeting in Dumbledore's office, it's not at all clear who is speaking until well into Remus' long quote. An early statement of "whoever said" would be quite helpful in similar circumstances in future fics.

Lupin's apology to Snape would have seemed more believable had he offered it in private instead of before witnesses. It comes across as blackmail intended to inflict Dumbledore's disapproval on Snape if he balked.

Harry’s getting overpowered. Look, this story was completed a long time ago, so it doesn’t matter. Just, it’s just revelations of new abilities are piling up at a bit of a pace. He’s not a Mary Sue yet, but if it keeps up he may end up being a super hero.

Another beautiful addition to the story and so much that has happened. The whole Merlin and the Founders part was a little scary at times with so much happening to Shaun, and that nightmare for Severus, as well as the hilarious parts too. Severus hates peas and yet wants Shaun to eat sprouts even when he hates them? I'd change them to malt balls if I could too lmao.
