Rereading this again after all this time and it's still a great story. I love that, in the end, Piccolo is still the "ruler of the world" and solved Vegeta's problem so he wouldn't be disturbed. I thought the conversation between them was pretty perfect.

I read this story years ago and the scene with Piccolo and Vegeta has stuck with me ever since then. This is a fantastic story that I have enjoyed reading and rediscovering. Thank you.

Excellent! I've always thought that Vegeta had it made: He has, through Bulma, the power and the money to live the cushy, sweet life of luxury that would make any Prince happy. He has the expertise and materials at his disposal for custom training equipment. Pretty wife, all the food he wants, and no one stronger around (except Gohan, but he totally doesn't count). And what does he have to do to maintain this? Nothing! He can spend his time training or doing whatever, none of the stress his father would have had to put up with. Spoilt. Great story. :D

What a cool a** story!

This was damn near perfect-

the dialogue, i loved the concept, and the interaction between Piccolo and Vegeta, you had complete control of their moment. bulma was spot on her and vegeta pool scene too funny, and the line at the end just made the whole thing , just that quick, pop into that remember forever after category. You did a great job:)

Hey, I really liked this fic! The "ruler of the world" logic was so perfect that I actually heard myself saying "duh, of course!". Piccolo was the perfect person for vegeta to talk to also, reading that part I realised it was true, about how Piccolo had the same mission as Vegeta to begin with. This fic...wow, I gotta say: AWESOME!

I have really enjoyed all your stories so far; you create an incredible dynamic between Vegeta and Bulma. It's engaging and realistic - well, as realistic as fanfiction about aliens and blue-haired girls can be.
