| e chapter 1 . 6/23/2007 I don't know where you get your information but there's no such rule about the wearing of green on st. patrick's day, at least in Ireland! Unless it's another american tradition! St. Patricks day is a celebration of our national saint who was originally from wales, ridded ireland of snakes and coveerted the majority of the country to christianity including the children of lir in from the well known irish legend.
