You captured me immediately drawing me into the story so I was able to experience all of the emotions that he was feeling as he remembered their time together. It was almost as if I was standing in the shadows of the room as he held her in his arms when she died or watching from a distance as they were together on the porch. This story made me smile and cry. Great job. |
