This is SO GOOD. Why'd you stop? I rarely see such an old fic capture the voices so incredibly well... (Not to blame old fics... It's just that your information/research is more limited since the series hasn't finished airing.) But back to it! Your depiction of the two is almost perfect, I'd say. Your writing is smooth and I love the idea of this AU (and that it takes place in the beginning of Book 2, even better) but daaaaaaamn the characterization is so believable, I keep going back to that. So you want to know what works? EVERYTHING. Ahhh, I want more. Thanks for sharing! I'm sad it's so short, but 2 chapters of this beauty is better than zero.
