I would think Ranma would be able to build things, on account of the fact that with how quickly things get rebuilt in Nerima, I'm quite sure there are martial arts carpenters somewhere, and no way Ranma hasn't fought one of them, and learned their skills.

Actually he should have a fair few skills, just because in Ranma1/2 anything can and will be martial arts, and Ranma will have to learn any and all martial arts at some point, which mean as a side effect he will learn the non-martial art part of things, like when he got challenged to martial arts tea ceremony, he learned the art, and he also learned how to have a tea ceremony, which mean he wouldn't embarrass himself much, if taking part in a normal tea ceremony.

And that's how it's with lots of Ranma1/2 martial arts, if you learn them, then you can use the mundane parts for a job.

Far too many good stories miss their shot at being a great story by having either an abrupt, I'll thought out, or just plain bad ending. I really appreciate that the story didn't end right after they returned from "Yesterday" and you took the time to tie up loose ends. (Though part of me suspects that the Kunos were ignored because you didn't want to try writing "Kunoese," which is the nonsense Tatewaki speaks.) I also really liked the redemption of Nabiki and the fact that they went after the house that had been theirs in "Yesterday" it was a very nice touch.

Kudos for writing this great story and I hope that you can one day finish up the sequel.

Picturing Kasumi in a "food fight" with Ranma always makes me laugh.

Wow, it's been so long since I have read this story that I forgot how much thought and effort Ranma had put into his "OTP" Syndrome before that idiot Gosunkugi exiled him and Kasumi. I did recall that it is an unannounced Langoliers crossover and I feel that this is the best subtle crossover I have ever read.

Well, that's it. Thanks again for wonderful story, I've enjoyed reading it immensely. Through, have to say, last chapters were somewhat poor grammar-wise.
Shame sequel is abandoned..

I know that it's little late to write reviews or ask anything, but please, very-very please replace 'Kas-chan' to 'Kasu-chan', 'Sumi-chan', 'Ka-chan' or just leave as 'Kasumi-chan'.
Because Japanese language operates with syllables, and there's no 's' letter or sound.
That's bugging me like you wouldn't believe.

Otherwise, very interesting fic. One of the very few with Kasumi pairing. Thanks for that. A lot.

I read only Ranma fanfic as I am old and never was into anime or manga. My introduction to Ranma was through Michael Ivins blog "Magic" which whetted my appetite for more. I have read several stories that were more dramedies and left 99% of the stuff like face faults and sweat drops behind which suited me just fine. This how your story is, it is a dramedy not a comedy.
Your story is no "One Trick Pony".
You are one of a handful of Fanfiction writers who I classify as a writer.

I rarely leave reviews because I can't think of any reviews that hadn't already been said but i had to leave my two cents on this one, and say how isn't this the #1 Ranma story, and in my opinion the ending is one of the best. I might be terrible at pointing out mistakes but I can still say if a story is good. P.S. Love the Steven King reference in the form of the Langoliers
