Well damn. That really was something different.
I don't think that there was anything about this I didn't love - The story was plausible and I LOVE your House voice and overall style. Seriously. I liked that feeling of no real resolve but still a finished story. Off to read your other stuff.

I loved it! You love torturing House don't you?
It was sweet and believable and original (because what with house getting enough shit as it is! joined really thinks to give him this much more shit... People usually go with the DBS and bus crash and Vicodin etc... Not a new and completely unrelated to the canon stuff bar fight - at least that's what I thought it was-)

But how did he get blind? Allergy to what? The mace?

Cameron being his "seeing eye person" is hilarious! I could so totally see her being the only one willing to do the job though. A House with a walking cane and a limp was snarky enough, but now he's obviously going to be even more snarky in part yes, because whether or not he'll admit it, being blind after everything is a difficult transition for anyone and he's gotta deflect those unwanted fillings somewhere :P Though seriously, I think that someone recently blinded needs the reassurance of a white cane, and also needs to be taught how to use it correctly as to minimize the embarassment of hitting something that the end of the cane missed, which would only cause House to grouch more. Cameron could still be his "bi**" as he so affectionately called her, but he'll have the option to venture out on his own. Being visually impaired myself, I value my independence, and I know a man like him would doubly value it for his own prides sake. Love this addition to the contract verse. BTW smooth House, how did he ever slip out of the hospital and to his apartment himself? Did Wilson break him out early?

Loved the story so far - characterisation is so spot on.

This was pretty awesome. Love House's way of sort-of coping, and how you explain just enough, and just hint at what actually happened until the end. There were a few grammatical errors that jumped out at me, and thoughts were often difficult to pick out from the narration, but overall this was well written. The tie scenes in italics were a very nice touch.

WOW. You certainly utilized House's way of showing and not telling. Almost all the events in this story were conveyed either through dialogue or cryptic, subjective narration. Not a single straightforward fact was stated. And you use of repetition was masterful, ingenious. FANTASTIC ending.

u can make up theory on how house became blind base on some evidences...it keeps you hanging.. makes you frustrated.. but in the end... you just gotta love how intriguing it sounds... because after all, all nice-majestic things, all end up unexplained.. and it adds to the beauty..*pouts*
