Hope you are well man, I come back to re-read this every few years and noticed I have never commented. Still one of my top favorites of the literary works here on FF. Just want to let you know even after this long, there are still people out there who appreciate your stories.

I hope you arent deceaced. Its a shame this is a Deadfic. But with my still lingering hope.

Well, was one interesting ride. Though apparently a deadfic I must admit that this was pretty interesting and I would've liked to see were it would've gone (if I am utterly wrong about this please do correct me and I will look forward to future chapters at some point). Other than that, I must admit that the flow was interesting if certainly a bit striking. You start out with the wonder of college, and move onto the fun, and the drama, but up until this arc there's always been at least a little bit of the fun there. Here I really couldn't detect it at all, and it does an excellent job (if it's intentional) demonstrating exactly how different things are now. Also I really enjoy Shinji's reaction to being off all his meds. Just the phrasing he had there was really good.

This is an excellent story. It has a protagonist who actually thinks, which is amazing, while still being blindsided by his environment, which is even better.

The emotion captured in this story is inspiring, and it depresses me that you seem to have quit on this story. Please finish it, or at least resolve the current ark. I'm so curious how it would progress.

Sweet zombie Jesus! This is really good. I would hope you would update soon, however seeing that it has been three years I will have to wait a bit. I don't care if it takes you another decade, I just hope you finish this one day.

DON"T END THIS ON THAT NOTE! This is too compelling! Please, capture your muse so she can inspire you to create more of this wonderfulness!

I'm trying to stick with you and wait for the long haul. I just reread this story and the ending again caught me off guard. Your AN gives me some hope, but I fell like I'm suffering the effects of an adrenaline rush. I think any people I come in contact wiht for the next couple of days are going to find my actions mechanical and dull. Update at your own pace of course, but some closure would be great.

That's the only word to describe it. Starting from chapter 1, you

fooled me into thinking that Shinji was actually going to be

stable. (At least mentally) But that assumption was crushed in

the later part if your story. Simply amazing ending to the chapter.

A fast pacing jaw dropping ending is exactly what was needed.

Bravo.

PS. I truly hope you continue this. If you don't, I might cry myself

to sleep.

Damn, it's good story, I read all 16 chapters. And then nothing what happen to chapter 17 after all this time.

You've managed to capture my mind (And copious spare time) with both your pacing and story- it is at once beautiful, and terrifying to gaze upon, even if the characters are a fiction. I have no doubt that you will leave nothing to be desired, when ever this ends.

And then, when I go up and look at the last date updated...I can see that I'll be waiting on the next chapter for quite a while.

Your style is one of the grittiest I've read in a while, and that realism combined into the Evangelion universe is what makes the story click, at least for me.

Okay! I've got it!

First of all, let me just say how utterly PLEASED I am to have found an Eva fic author of high caliber who also happens to be an thorough SxA fan. My search is finally over! I worship thee! T_T

Now, on the subject of an actual review for this story: I love it, plain and simple. Though I realize that this is hardly an original declaration, allow me to elaborate on the 'why'. This fic balances all the things that makes for good fiction -very- well. The characters, both canon and original, are believable and possess a refreshing amount of depth (except Daisuke, the Lord of Douchebags). The dialogue and narrative flows like silk, an invigorating change from the clumsy, forced material that has always been all-too-common in fanfiction. The plot had me hooked from the beginning, what with the premise of the pilots in college, and that whole 'giving the ending away at the beginning' that is always so very effective at capturing my attention. There's more than enough drama and emotion, swirling around like a drunken frat boy, to satisfy my desires, and the angst . . . oh, the glorious angst . . . it's simply delicious. XD And did I mention your descriptions, which have a definite MidnightCereal flavor? Yeah, the descriptions too.

Perhaps the only thing I didn't quite like about it were those moments when Shinji was first getting involved with Asaren and SEELE. I just thought, "Shinji developing a confident and well-balanced personality? What?" But, as one of my fellow reviewers has already mentioned, it all starts falling apart miserably anyway, which is definitely more to the tune of Shinji's beat

In summation, this is a well-crafted, beautifully written story that I hope you will update as soon as possible. Keep up the good work! D

Oh, and on an almost entirely unrelated note, I read a review of this story by Secret Blood-something-or-other on the third page of reviews, whining something about the first line about Asuka getting shot being too sad, and taking off without another glance. I have resolved to find this person, and break their nose for not giving a great story more than a superficial glance. -_-

Oh, and on a slightly more relevant note . . . I think my whole opinion on the whole Shinji/Yuki thing can be summed up in the moment when Shinji found Yuki cheating on him, and the first thing I thought was "YES! Now's Asuka's chance to grab him on the rebound!" (And no, I am not falling for the painfully obvious red herring that she's the murdering psychopath XP)

WOW! The end of that chapter was about as painful as a punch in the neck. Again, bravo with yet another powerful plot twist!
