I have to say, this is one of my favorite fanfictions that I have ever read. Everything was seriously perfect.

This story was absolutely FANTASTIC! I loved reading every single chapter, its been so long since I've read a fanficition as good as this and be absolutely HOOKED to the story. My favorite things were how you kept the characters so flawlessly in character and weaved in the Final Fantasy VIII world with your own world. This was a delightful read. Excellent job! 3

This ending to the story brings such a warm feeling to my heart. It wrapped up beautifully. I love your details and the way you articulated the conversations of Squall's police talk and manner. It sounds like you have knowledge in the law enforcement yourself! Great read, and I'd love to read more Squall and Rinoa stories from you!

Wow. Its finally over. This is incredibly gripping to read and I really enjoyed having the Squinoa bits play out in such a manner and personally it's a very original story as I would never have thought to put them on the Force.

The way you forced them apart made me a little emo for awhile but I'm glad you put them back together. The fight scene with Tristan was well written and was exciting to read especially with the last flurry of blows being tied into Squall's memories.

That's about all I have to say. Going to try a snow dance now. Hmm gotta find my pajamas...

I enjoyed this one, it was great!

I read this fic for the first time about a year ago and I absolutely loved it. I decided to read it again the other day and found that I still think that it's one of the best stories I've read here on . Brilliantly written, everything about it was so amazing. I love the alternate universe you've created and the personalities you gave each character. I felt Squall's pain and Rinoa's desire to comfort him and make him feel better. The main plot made me want to never stop reading until I finished the whole thing. And the ending was just perfect.

You're a brilliant writer. I wish you'd write more stories, but I know that these things take a lot of effort and time that we sometimes don't have. I'm just thankful that you were able to write this one because it will definitely remain one of my favorite FF8 fics of all time.

God damn that was brilliant. Wonderful characterisation, excellent dialogue... I finished it in one reading just because I couldn't stop. I can't believe that I only just found this, and believe me I am hitting myself on the head for not discovering this earlier. This is a masterpiece, and easily in my top 5 favourie Fanfics of all time, and is probably my favouriet FFVIII work. I just... love what you've done to the characters. It feels so...right. I was somewhat sceptical of the premise while reading the summary and beginning the story, but by the end of the very first chapter I actually couldn't stop. Which might be a bad thing, considering as it is now 4:30 am and I'm about to collapse.

I merely hope I can find any other fanfic as good as this for a long long time.

you know what, this is absolutely one of the best fanfics i've read. to think that you wrote this like, what, when you were 15/16 years old! you wrote really nicely, and believe me, you've done even better than more novel writers out there. it had been a good read, full of unfailing wit, suspense, though there was just a bit of that romance, but it did not ruin your whole story. it was perfectly written. I'm kind of sad that you stopped writing, there would've been alot of fanfics for us to read from you... i refuse to read the sequel for this story, seeing that you haven't updated it for a very, very long time. thought if you were, i'd be more than happy to read it.
