marble-fire chapter 1 . 12/31/2011
Once again you somehow written another great fic. I absolutely loved it, it was so sad...yet it was so happy? Bittersweet is a better word for it I guess :D And the ending was so vague, but at the same time I am actually happy with it, it makes it all the more interesting XD Great Work as always :)
darthjuno chapter 1 . 7/10/2011
Bittersweet and beautiful! You really conveyed the torn feeling that Caspian lives with after falling for both Maren and Edmund incredibly well. And though I haven't read the books (yet), the story wasn't affected at all. I could tell it was bookverse, but I didn't feel like there were things I wasn't getting. An excellent fic I'll keep recommending :)

amazing
Treadingthedawn chapter 1 . 1/4/2011
I love this story and I love them both: Edmund and Caspian.

And you are great! You really have a sense for characters and emotions!

I read The Blurring of Memory the day before yesterday and The Sharpness of Memory yesterday and today I was totally depressed because of the unhappy love of them both and the bitter-sweet ending of Sharpness of Memory.

I think it's the uncomplete stories that really touch people were not everthing is written out and were unnecessary detailes are just cut out. I usually don't like stories in the present tense but as you told in the description: you wanted it to be more like impressions and I think that works very well and I like it.

Somebody wrote in his review that he listened to "The Call" and that's just what I did, too but exspecially I listened to "There's a place for us" by Victoria S.

I watched the new movie and after that I really liked Edmund and Caspian as a couple (because of several cute scenes :D)

I really, really, really would like you to write something like a one shot from "The last Battle" were Edmund and Caspian do see each other again in the land of Aslan. I think a little adding will heal a little my broken heart. Maybe of some other readers, too. Please!

I admire you!

(and sorry for my bad english)

OHMYGAWD. My cries. I can't even control myself. This was so sad. The part where Maren throws out Edmund's tunic and where Caspian reads the letter... and now when he dies. IT'S SO SAD!

Once again, your writing was beautiful and brilliant. Well done!

Selah Ex Animo chapter 1 . 5/15/2010
I don't think I can comment intelligently on this story. I've read it three times now and even began the third reading grimly determined to make an exhaustive list of everything I adored and can't get over and simply must gush about. But midway through the beginning, I gave up, because it's rather difficult to both read and review when every word of this fic threatens to sweep me off my feet into the utter, absorbing bliss of simply reading.

The end always leaves me in tears. The cumulative affect of "Sharpness" is magnificent. (Caspian sums it so poignantly with this line, "Glamour is only in the imagining – and the remembering.")

You capture Caspian so... perfectly. Just... wow. His is a life lived so completely that it fills each page. Not a single word is wasted. I love how you write Edmund, as well (both from his point of view and from Caspian's perspective - the comparisons and contrasts between this story and "The Blurring of Memories" [which I've just read. And adore.] are fantastic, especially in that you narrate several Dawn Treader scenes here that don't occur in "Blurring". Everything that you include or exclude between "Blurring" and "Sharpness" says so much about their narrators - it paints a portrait of Caspian and Edmund's characters just as much as anything stated in-story): how "he is intelligent and eloquent a hesitant sort of way, yet at the same time there is a certain vulnerability about him". I love being able to see Edmund from another perspective, and as much as I loved Caspian in "Blurring", being able to read Caspian's tale from his own point of view brought him to life for me.

For instance, the theme of stories that runs all throughout "Sharpness" - how you reveal not merely that Caspian enjoys them (as readers see in "Blurring"), but that stories feed his curiosity, his friendships, his ambition - indeed, his very existence and humanity. And of course, Caspian as king: you brilliantly portray how integral being a good king - and a good person - is to his identity, how, to him, the measure of his own goodness is how much the people who surround him love him. It's subtly, exquisitely done: from Caspian's delight in his nurse's hugs to the line "Everyone tells him how beautiful it is, how brilliant it is, he has clearly gotten off to a good start as king. Everyone loves him and Caspian can hardly believe it." and beyond.

And your gift for foreshadowing is just excellent, _

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful work.

AMAZING! This is great! Almost as good as the first one I read! D
Hiei-and-shino chapter 1 . 10/13/2009
Oh shit, I cried. I really cried in here. And I thought that "The Blurring Memories" was amazing. You have a talent to write stories! I would kill myself just to read a book of you - seriously, you should try to write one.

...I have no words to say how much I loved. Because it was something too good for it.

The end was so cute and sad! I enjoyed so much that I'm jealous of your talent.

Great job!
yllom21 chapter 1 . 1/2/2009
This story is very amusing. I loved how you wrote Caspian, and I loved the relationship be shared with Edmund. Great job.
Oximore chapter 1 . 11/26/2008
One of the best Caspian/Edmund I EVER read! Damn, you totally should post it on Livejournal if you can, coz it's really brilliant! :)
Merkaba7734 chapter 1 . 11/1/2008
Wow. I don't know what to say. I've never really read an Edmund and Caspian fic before, and I'd never really ever thought of the pairing, but I love it. The whole thing was just heart-wrenching. So many things in it were absolutely exquisite that I can't even go into them. I love this so much.
shockingpinkk chapter 1 . 9/22/2008
This was the third Caspian/Edmund fic I've read. The first being Stop Calling Her and the second being The Blurring of Memories. (Incidentally, I loved Stop Calling Her. You really have to continue writing such fics. :D )

This was awesome. I feel like I've been taken on a rollercoaster journey. The ups, downs, middles, turns, the works. Everything. I was breathless at some points of the story. And the letter? It was the tour de force. :D

I suppose you can surmise from my ramblings that I love your story.

So just a note telling you I love your style of writing and the plots in general! I really enjoyed myself.

(And reading before my exams is really something I shouldn't do. But hey, it was too good to resist! :D )
