I remember I read this a long time ago, and I liked it. It's really hard to find good Axel/Roxas friendships, and I'm glad I found this one -

Oohh, philosophy AND some Axel/Roxas friendship. I like it. :]

It's interesting to see a take on how they became friends, while pointing out they technically can't -be- friends because they're nobodies. But it's realistic and I like how you kind of made a theory of some sort of Roxas' personality being a mishmash of all around him.

There are so manyu parts of this that I like.

There’s a jolt in Axel’s spine as he realizes there is something very irregular hidden inside Number Thirteen, something that doesn’t add up with the psycho lifeless blonde exterior, the boring shell."

Awesome.

"You can see it in action, and it’s fascinating. The Organization is Roxas’s first language: inside the boy’s mouth is Xigbar’s arrogance and Xaldin’s aloofness and Xemnas’s cold inhumanity. Zexion’s composure. Lexaeus’s implacability. Vexen’s... whatever."

That's a crative idea.

"She said that not having a heart is about not having empathy - the ability to connect your heart to another. When you don’t have a heart, you don’t have that ability anymore.”"

That was pretty.

I like this story, it show the relationship of Axel and Roxas in a slightly different light to the other ones i've read.

"The Organization is Roxas’s first language" that is a brillant descriptioon of how Roxas speaks, but once again Axel is right underneath there's "Something that’s just Roxas" and i think you portrayed that part of him well, too

Interesting idea and execution. I liked it, but at the same time it seemed drawn out and not as compelling as some of your other work. I think that if you compacted it rather than spreading it out it would be better, but that's just me. As it is it's just fine.

I haven't played either Kingdom Hearts games, although I've read a bunch of fanfic, so I don't really know the characters or plotline of KH2, but I thought this was really good, and I really liked it. The title really fit and I felt so bad for Axel when Roxas said they weren't friends, but then the ending was so cute :) This was great.
