Again, not for the last time I hate everyone so much. Honestly I want Dean to die because then maybe he'll be at peace and nobody can use him. My heart hurts so terribly. But it's wonderful too. The best and worst feeling! Oh poor child Dean! I mean, I could definitely see Dean doing this. Thinking playing homemaker will make his family stick together! It's depressing how he feels so abandoned. Wonderful read! Thanks for the story!

This is part of my head canon, Dean trying to hold his family together with meals. After all, he reverts to cooking once the brothers settle into their bunker - making chili and burgers for sick Sam. For all of Sam's impassioned bluster about "normal life," Dean is the one building a home. A reason for his family to stay.
