Great three chapters

I admit, I took this better than the OVA-that-shall-not-be-mentioned-or-referenced-again. Maybe because the shock had long died down and so is the denial but honestly, I'm glad the possibility was addressed. Because Gosho can do it and rip whatever hope I had for Shinichi coming back. I'm still bitter about it though.

I'm glad, at least there parts that made it lighthearted. Especially the obvious reference to KID and the cameo of Kaito. His relationship with Aoko had been the most worrying in the MK fandom.

Very very nice. A realistic view of what an ending without the medicine would be like. Especially liked the twist with kuroba.

This is difficult. I have to admit that I thinks of this as possible scenario, but I never thought Ran will marry Conan. I always thinks that Conan would end up marrying Ai if he can't go back being Shinichi.

But nonetheless you did excellent job, while I do caught some strange point in the story.

Age of legal marriage in Japan is 18 for males, while 16 is for females. So, Conan marry Ran too fast. And for added trivia, people considered adult at age 20. Do you know about this?

Why could Ai being accepted marrying a man thrice her age? Of course, being younger woman has its merits, but how about pairing her with someone younger? Like, for example, Saguru Hakuba?

I haven't made a habit of reading DC fics, but this one is absolutely stunning. You've hit the right mark for me with how the future in their universe turns out. I always think about the difference between Shinichi and Conan, and you did a great job describing it.

From the first time, I appreciated the fact of discovering a new side of Ran et Shinichi's relationship, beacause it wasn't "like the others"

i absolutely CANNOT believe that i have never written a review for this story. oh my god.

this story is just... absolutely phenomenal. even though 'detective conan' is merely an anime show/comic series, you were able to analyze the characters' situations and delve much further to create this realistic, heartbreaking, emotional piece of writing. i enjoyed reading it very much. your grammar and descriptions are superb, and i was in awe at how powerful this story was.

thank you for this great story. i hope you write more like these.

i feel for conan and ran. they're in a crazy, tough situation, but true love conquers all.

That was utterly beautiful. Just, well, beautiful. I loved the way the plot went-the twists, the problems with society, the emotions of both Ran and Shinichi-you wrote it really well. Everything had a nice flow to it, and the way you made the characters discussed the discrimination concerning the marriage of Ran and Conan made it very real-world-ish realistic. (That's repetitive, isn't it? Haha.)

Anyway, this was brilliant. I loved it to bits. (Faving it, of course.) Fufufu.

And you know what? Ran dating Kaito is a plus! (Because I'm a secret KidxRan shipper when it all comes down to it. *is shot*) Haha.
