Thank you for writing this and sending my mind on all sorts of "what ifs"- part of me is glad you never continued this, because now I'm imagining all sorts of crazy shenanigans- I am particularly amused by how the IOA would react to Harry and Ron, especially Richard Woolsey. | Lord-Drakos chapter 1 . 10/6/2012 This was going so well until a wraith somehow ended up in the atlantis gate room, and all of the trained soldiers just stood around and did nothing. For one thing a wraith ship would have been detected long before it even came close to the planet, and there's no way a single dart covered the distance on its own, so there would also be a cruiser or hive in orbit. Secondly we've clearly seen atlantis soldiers shoot wraith on sight, hostage or no hostage, they wouldn't stand around chatting with a wraith that has somehow breached their defences. And lastly, Harry's dialogue is a bit dry and out of character during the encounter. This isn't meant to be a flame, just some pointers on what you should edit to help the story along. |
