i love it I always thought Legolas seemed really young compared to most of the others. Even if he is imortal

I wouldn't listen to nit pickers! This is wonderful, I love the idea of Legolas being nothing more than a child but Elvish children are different to human children.

There is strong proof to suggest that Legolas is that young, I'm not going to get technical and everything, it's in his behavior (focusing on Bloom's performance too here) such as Legolas is very naive- he may kill orcs and goblins but when Gandalf and Boromir die just go back and look at Legolas' reactions, he has no idea what to make of it (like little children that squash bugs but don't understand when they can't see their grandparents anyone, type thing)

Any-ho! I've been searching for a story like this for so long and I love it! I hope the other reviwers, the ones picking unnessasary holes don't put you off writing more x

This was great! I thouroughly enjoyed it.

This story was written forever ago, but I'm reviewing anyway. I would like to say that this story was enjoyable, although the characters are pretty OOC. Legolas thanking the valar for orcs showing up was a great line.

The thing that bugged me the most was that if he was 500 I don't think the conversion would be 18. I'm pretty sure a yeni (what the elves years would be like for men) is made up of 144 years. Convert that and Legolas would be around 3, according to men. If he was 18 in man's years that would make him 2,592 in elven years.

This story is good, although it does need some work - I also caught a few typos - but I'm now off to your authors page to see if you wrote more after this/improved in your writing.

I really loved this story. it was so light hearted and fun. not to mention well written. I am still laughing, and i have had a bad day and this just cheered me right up. I think i shall re-read it a few more times.

I also suspected that Legolas is so young as he behaves differently and childishly in the first book of when his jumping excitedly when they arrive at the golden forest? The fetching of the sun? His game with Gimli? Could you imagine Arwen, Elrond and the other elves would be doing those same things?

And Aragon has a right to laugh and mock at him, for in the book, Legolas is always mocking them for being mere children.
