This is such a beautiful line that my heart cried more than the my eyes did.

Also when you said Neji is the "freed prodigy" my heart broke a little more because it seemed to pertain to his unfair demise huhuhu

In light of the recent Naruto chapters, this was both a painful and beautiful thing to read. I loved every moment—especially the final part about their different names where you used the phrase "up to the heavens where birds fly free." Very cute and fabulously written.

Wow, that was a very well-written story! I like how you describe Team Guy, with snippets of humor here and there. I wonder if the team was actually Team 13 though, I've never heard of any real confirmation from the manga or anime. Anyway, I still love this team, especially how they always stick together. Just look at the first Shippuuden episodes: they made their introduction together! All four of them! Well, this might not be legit, but you get the point.

By the way, I was reading the comments and came upon a quotation of one of your ending sentences:

Oh my gosh, this is GREAT! Team Guy rocks! Your ending paragraphs rule, at #20. They were just perfect and ties up the entire story. The only flaw was that some points didn't have anything to do with their team name though. Still, a very awesome story. Thank you. :)

I'm crying, for some reason. #20 was the my favourite. Followed closely by #15,

Recently, my brother and I were deciding which squad we'd prefer to be on out of the main ones in the show. And of course we both chose Team Gai. I think his reasons might be that they're strong, older than the others, and he finds Gai extremely comical. But the reason that I gave him was pretty much point #20.

I remember I was in the pool with my brother once, and we were throwing these rubber pool toys at each other, and I shouted out, "I'm Tenten!"

Definitely my favourite four characters. I sat through the filler arcs of the anime just to see them drag Naruto through the mountains. And it's awesome to know that everyone has the same opinions.

OH CRAP. I just read an awesome fic! I love, love, love this and yes, it's years late. But that's what I love about this; years later? Still so right! I adore Team Gai (sure, sure, Team Kakashi is my team forever and forever) because they kept together. They stayed with each other through thick and thin and there's something awesome about the fact that though the other teams are more 'initially' legendary (Ino-Shika-Cho, Team 7 and their, um, angst-tastic epic), they took time (a year before the Chuunin exam!) and effort (practicing TOGETHER) and if I'm starting to ramble, you're right. I'm totally rambling because I love this. Yes. Anyways.

:) :) :) I cannot stop smiling after reading this wonderful fic! Lol, I spent a good minute trying to figure out the seating arrangement around the square table before I read the next sentence. Anyways, I love how you painted a picture of Team Gai's team dynamics and each individuals little quirks (the TV show/movie preferences were a great touch!) Team Gai best team ever. :D Wonderful job!
